Marines with 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit carry communicate with a pilot during a tactical recovery of aircraft and personnel (TRAP) training exercise here March 4. Assault forces developed and executed tactics, techniques, and procedures applicable to TRAP operations. During the training, Marines located the injured personnel and extracted them as quickly as possible.
