Seabees from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 1 and Republic of Korea navy sailors weld metal brackets at the Aikwangwon orphanage as part of a community relations event. NMCB 1 engaged in activities with the Republic of Korea navy including a seaside walk, installation of a guardrail, and team-building games with the residents and staff. Aligned with Secretary of The Navy Ray Mabus' four priorities of people, platforms, partnerships and power, NMCB 1 will deliver the Navy's forward presence through its work with several host nations at its CCADs in the Pacific and will continue to conduct construction operations in the Northern Command.
