U.S. Army Sgt. Aaron Majors, human resources specialist, drags Spc. Evan Martin, wheeled vehicle mechanic, 387th Human Resources Company, out of the line of fire after he was shot while returning fire to opposing forces during the Combat Training Exercise at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., Feb. 21, 2014. The CSTX is designed to provide soldiers the opportunity to experience realistic simulations to prepare them and their unit for deployment. Simulations range anywhere from the soldier being engaged in work with their Military Occupational Specialty to reacting to contact from an enemy attack. This training is focused to develop and prepare the leaders and their units with all the skills necessary for them to succeed against any situation that may arise on the battlefield.
