Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician 3rd Class Troy Padmore , left, and Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician 1st Class Michael Ganousis, both assigned to Commander, Task Group (CTG) 56.1 recover an Atlas Elektronik SeaFox from an 8.5-meter rigid-hull inflatable boat in the Arabian Gulf, Feb. 10. A SeaFox is a fiber-optic guided, one-shot underwater system used for semiautonomous disposal of ordnance found at sea. CTG-56.1 conducts mine countermeasures, explosive ordnance disposal, salvage diving, and force protection operations throughout the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
