KEY WEST, Fla. – The U.S. Army Landing Craft Utility-New Orleans, anchored off the coast of Key West provides a diving platform for Navy Divers of the Underwater Construction Team-1, Naval Expeditionary Combat Command, from Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story, Virginia Beach, Va., Feb. 8. In a joint training mission, the LCU-New Orleans, crewed by the 824th Transportation Company (Heavy Boat), 143d Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), transported the team of divers to sea and provided them a platform to conduct annual underwater diver qualification training.
