Residents of Galveston receive bleach, cots, food, ice and water from Sailors assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS Nassau and members of the Army National Guard during a food convoy to various neighborhoods to supply people affected by Hurricane Ike. Nassau is anchored off the coast of Galveston to support civil authorities in disaster recovery as directed in the wake of Hurricane Ike.
