Rct. Sally Nguyen, Platoon 4008, November Company, 4th Recruit Training Battalion, sorts through Kevlar helmets inside a warehouse Feb. 13, 2014, during the eighth week of training, known as Team Week, on Parris Island, S.C. Nguyen, a 19-year-old Houston native, worked with her fellow recruits took a weeklong break from their fast-paced training to help Marines and staff around the base complete tasks. This rest period also allowed time for recruits’ bodies to heal from minor injuries they may have suffered previously in training. Nguyen is scheduled to graduate March 14, 2014. (Photo by Cpl.
