Master Sgt. Robert Weis, contracting officer assigned to the 379th Expeditionary Contracting Squadron, attaches a serviceable tag to an individual first aid kit, Sept. 19, 2008, at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. Once a week, volunteers recertify about 1,200 IFAKs to make sure the items inside are current so they can be used in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility. Sgt. Weir, a native of Los Angeles, Calif., is deployed from Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho, supporting Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa.
