U.S. Marines hike along the road leading to a mountain with Republic of Korea Marines Feb. 6 during Korean Marine Exchange Program 14-3 near Pohang, Republic of Korea. The Marines left the smooth comfort of the road behind as they hiked up a mountain shortly after the photo was taken. During the 400-kilometer hike the Marines walked an average of 25 kilometers a day. The Marines in the photo are with Company A, 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force. The ROK Marines are with 1st ROK Special Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st ROK Division.
