The Osprey's ability to land at locations without an airfield will compliment other refueling aircraft in carrying fuel long distances. Ranum is a crew chief with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265 (Reinforced), 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
