South Carolina Army National Guard soldiers Master Sgt. Mike Purdie and Sgt. 1st Class William Bailey are part of wrecker team in Anderson, S.C., staged along Interstate 85 to support the S.C. Department of Public Safety to assist motorists impacted by the hazardous road conditions following an ice storm, Feb 12, 2014. Fourteen S.C. National Guard wrecker teams are supporting around the state after Gov. Nikki Haley declared a state of emergency with the dangerous ice storm impacting South Carolina.
