Sergeant Marcus Myers, a food service specialist with Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, Regional Command (Southwest), has his new rank pinned by Staff Sgt. Aviel Smith, food service specialist chief, Headquarters Co., aboard Patrol Base Boldak in Helmand province, Afghanistan, Feb. 2, 2014.
