Juan Ortiz, non-lethal weapons instructor with 1st Law Enforcement Battalion, from Alamo, Texas, sprays a Marine 2nd Battalion, 11th Marines, Kilo Company with Oleoresin Capsicum spray as a part of non-lethal weapons training aboard Camp Pendleton, Calif., Feb. 4, in preparation for their upcoming involvement with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit. After being sprayed, the Marines run a detaining course to ensure they can complete their mission while being contaminated.
