Marines with 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, move to secure the bluff overlooking the beach after an amphibious landing as part of the Marine Corps Combat Readiness Exercise at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Feb. 4, 2014. Once arriving on shore, the Marines had to quickly figure out their position and how to move to their land-based objectives.
