As part of 1st Brigade's pre-combat readiness training, Soldiers from Company D, 2nd Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, moved to a tactical position outside of an "Iraqi" city during an air assault conducted, Sept. 3, 2008. Moving to within 100 meters of the city, the Soldiers gave support by fire to their fellow Soldiers inside the city as they subdued and detained high value insurgents. The Ironhorse Brigade is conducting Rampage to equip their Soldiers with the necessary skills for their upcoming deployment.
