Aircrew Survival Equipmentman Chris Dorrough, a native of Gadsden, Ala., holds up gifts he received from a spectator during the 65th Annual Sapporo Snow Festival, Jan. 5, 2014. Dorrough, and the 2014 Navy Misawa Snow Team, provided U.S. Navy lapel pins and U.S. 7th Fleet DVDs to the festival, which is attended by more than 2 million spectators each year. While in Sapporo, the team sculpted a 6-foot snow sculpture of the U.S. Navy Seabee's "Fighting Bee" logo. This is the 31st year that Naval Air Facility Misawa and its tenant commands have sent a delegation of sailors to the festival to create a sculpture, and to serve as U.S. Navy good will ambassadors.
