Petty Officer 2nd Class Anthony Foster uses a flashlight to examine the internal components of a propeller on a E-2C Hawkeye, assigned to the "Black Eagles" of Airborne Early Warning Squadron 113, in the hangar bay of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. As an aviation machinist's mate, Foster works to maintain service, adjust, and replace his aircraft's engines and accessories, as well as perform the duties of flight engineers. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed in the 5th Fleet/NAVCENT area of responsibilities. Operations in the NAVCENT area of operations are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
