Unusually low temperatures and an overnight snowfall resulted in the post being closed for the day giving residents an opportunity to enjoy a "snow day." Here, a German Shepherd named Koda, owned by Rey Padilla, plays in the snow at the Fort Jackson dog park on Jan. 29. Padilla is retired Army and currently is the pro at the post golf course.
