A Marine with Combat Logistics Regiment 15, 1st Marine Logistics Group, splashes into three feet of water after her opponent knocks her off the platform during a pugil-stick match as part of the regiment’s physical training competition aboard Camp Pendleton, Calif., Jan. 24, 2014. In addition to sparring with pugil sticks, the Marines participated in a boots and utilities formation run and competed in body jousting, an event in which Marines raced across a wet and soapy tarp with unit-decorated refrigerator boxes over their heads. The winner of the overall physical fitness competition was Maintenance Battalion.
