    Petty Officer 1st Class David Ashey, an aviation maintenance technician from Coast Guard Air Station Elizabeth City, N.C., conducts post-flight inspections on one the engines onboard a HH-60 Jayhawk helicopter, Sept. 13, 2008, before he and the rest of the Jayhawk crew take off to perform search and rescue assessments of southwest Louisiana and southeast Texas. The Coast Guard deployed additional search and rescue aircraft from numerous Air Stations from throughout the Coast Guard to aid in the post-Hurricane Ike landfall response.
