Maldivian Marines march to a training area to set up a squad competition during a non-commissioned officer development program with U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific Marines on Maafilaafushi, Maldives, Jan. 21, 2014. This training event between both U.S. and Maldivian Marines creates a setting for professional military and cultural exchanges, as well as provides both forces an opportunity to train in unfamiliar settings and gain experience with different tactics, techniques and procedures.
