Corporal Danny Vega, an optics technician with Black Sea Rotational Force 14, Cpl. Brodrick Gaines, a food service specialist with BSRF-14, and Sgt. Brent Wars, a landing support specialist with BSRF-14, run in stride for the physical fitness test during a two-week long, unit-wide squad competition at Mihail Kogalniceanu, Romania, Jan. 13, 2014. The PFT, while just being part of the arduous physical and mental tasks conducted during the second week, is a semi-annual evaluation for Marines and includes pull-ups, or the flexed-arm hang for females, abdominal crunches, and a 3-mile run.
