Retired U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Keith W. Dayton makes a point while addressing the Senior Advisory Council and Consortium Steering Committee of the Partnership for Peace Consortium. Dayton, who also serves as director of the joint US-German George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies, addressed the group of about 40 people, including international defense academy commandants, officials from ministries of defense and others. The two-event focused on updates from PfPC's nine working groups. The group also discussed further curriculum development and the creation of a cyber security group. Attendees came from Austria, Bulgaria, Canada, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Poland, Romania, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United States. The PfPC Operations Staff is co-located with the joint US-German George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. The PfPC is a voluntary association of institutes of higher learning and defense and security affairs linking more than 800 defense academies and security studies institutes in 59 countries.
