Timothy Burnell, a Roseburg, Ore., native and a pharmacy technician with 582nd Medical Logistics Company, 61st Multifunctional Medical Battalion, 1st Medical Brigade, was awarded the Department of the Army Larry C. Nesmith Enlisted Pharmacy Technician Award at the 1st Med. Bde. Headquarters at Fort Hood, Texas, Dec. 11, in recognition of his performance as the pharmacy narcotics vault custodian during his unit’s deployment in Afghanistan from June 2012 until March 2013.
