Locals from Port-au-Prince, Haiti work with U.S. Navy personnel assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge to unload food and water for delivery to citizens affected by the recent hurricanes that have stuck Haiti. Kearsarge has been diverted from the scheduled Continuing Promise 2008 humanitarian assistance deployment in the western Caribbean to conduct hurricane relief operations in Haiti.
