U.S. Marine Corps Private First Class Jack Schwab with Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment (1/5), 1st Marine Division (MARDIV) from Camp Pendleton, Calif. conducts an airfield seizure at Strategic Expeditionary Landing Field (SELF), Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC), Twentynine Palms, Calif. on Dec. 11, 2013 during exercise Steel Knight (SK-14). SK-14 is a large-scale combined arms, live-fire exercise integrating ground troops from 1st Marine Division, aviation and logistical support from 3rd MAW and 1st Marine Logistics Group to ensure that our nation is fully prepared for employment as a maneuver force across the range of military operations.
