Senior Airman Shawn Buelow, cable and antenna maintenance journeyman assigned to the 379th Expeditionary Communication Squadron, feeds fiber optic cables into a manhole to provide communications for a new facility Sept 3, 2008, at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. Buelow, a native of Kalamazoo, Mich., is deployed in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH.
