Engineers embarked aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge help build a new school house for local children during the humanitarian assistance mission Continuing Promise 2008. Kearsarge is supporting the Caribbean phase of CP, an equal-partnership mission between the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, Brazil, Nicaragua, Panama, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana.
