Coast Guard reenacts life aboard revenue cutter during War of 1812

Matthew Krogh, a member of the U.S. Coast Guard's Historic Ship's Company dressed in an authentic uniform to commemorate the bicentennial of the War of 1812, demonstrates the use of some of the instruments that would have been on Revenue Cutters during the war, on a pier near Discovery World in Milwaukee, Aug. 10, 2012. The living history reenactments, portraying the service from which the Coast Guard evolved, will continue from noon to 5:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
