    CAPE MAY, N.J. - Mayor Pam Kaithern, Deputy Mayor Peter Burke, both from the Borough of West Cape May, and Capt. Bill Kelly, commanding officer of Coast Guard Training Center Cape May, plant a "Space Shuttle Tree" donated to the Coast Guard by the Borough of West Cape May Aug. 8, 2012. The seed for the tree traveled more than 1.5 million miles aboard the 22nd flight of the Space Shuttle Columbia, and there are only 35 Space Shuttle trees like it in the Nation.
