PORTSMOUTH, Va., - Cmdr. Kevin M. King relieved Cmdr. Kevin M. Carroll of the Coast Guard Cutter Legare during a change of command ceremony Thursday at Coast Guard Base Portsmouth Thursday. Carroll's final patrol aboard the Legare, a 270-foot medium endurance cutter based out of Portsmouth, was a 60 day Joint Interagency Task Force patrol resulting in a go-fast seizure keeping an estimated $153 million worth of cocaine from reaching the United States.
