Baho and Raya are part of a 26-personnel advanced medical detachment team conducting MEDCAPs and repairing medical equipment in Yap as part of Pacific Partnership 2008, a humanitarian mission dedicated to providing medical and dental assistance programs in cooperation with host nations throughout the Asian Pacific region. Pacific Partnership 2008 is a four-month humanitarian mission intended to build collaborative relationships by providing engineering, civic, medical and dental assistance to the region.
