BALTIMORE - Petty Officer 2nd Class Richard Dahl, Petty Officer 2nd Class Jim Karschner, Djohariah Pfaehler, Petty Officer 1st Class John Pfaehler and his daughter make their way toward the finish line of the 4th annual Nate Bruckenthal Memorial Run held on the Coast Guard Yard base in Curtis Bay, Md., April 21, 2012. The 5 km run began as a way to honor Coast Guard Petty Officer 3rd Class Nathan "Nate" Bruckenthal who died in the line of duty April 24, 2004, when he and two Navy sailors intercepted a waterborne suicide attack on the Khawr Al Amaya Oil Platform off the coast of Iraq in the northern Persian Gulf.
