U.S. Naval Forces Central Command / U.S. 5th Fleet           

Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff Adm. Mike Mullen and Commander, Multi-National Force - Iraq Gen. David Petraeus observe flight operations from the flag bridge during a visit to USS Abraham Lincoln. Lincoln is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations to support Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom as well as Maritime Security Operations. Operations in the 5th Fleet area of responsibility are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
