Army 1st Lt. Sean Daily, deputy command historian for the North Carolina National Guard, presents a challenge coin to three students at Pearsontown Elementary School in Durham, N.C., in September 2013. Daily visited the school as part of an initiative by the NCNG to educate the public on the significance the National Guard plays in our communities across the state.
