Sailors assigned to the Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Mercy play volleyball with residents of Weno Island at a local court. Mercy will operate in Federated States of Micronesia to perform humanitarian civic assistance missions in an effort to build the relationship between FSM and the United States. Mercy is the primary platform for Pacific Partnership, a four-month humanitarian mission providing engineering, civic, medical and dental assistance to Southeast Asia and Oceania.
