U.S. Soldiers from Civil Affairs Team 6, Charlie Company, 415th Civil Affairs, 1st Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment, and U.S. Soldiers from Delta Company 1st Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment walk to Al Salam General Hospital in Al Salam, Mosul, Iraq, on Aug. 21, 2008. The Civil Affairs team came to assess the damage done to the Hospital by a Vehicle Borne Improvised Explosive Device detonated 2 weeks ago across the street at an Iraqi Police Station.
