Tal Afar, Iraq (October 15, 2005) - Iraqi citizens exercise their right to vote in a historical Iraqi Referendum voting. Iraqi Army Security Forces with assitance from the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment and 82nd Airborne unit are providing security for the region of Tal Afar in order to disrupt insurgent safe havens and to clear weapons cache sights in the area of operation.
