Petty Officer 2nd Class Carlos Oqendo plots points on the navigation chart aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS McFaul, Aug. 22, 2008. This will keep the ship from coming too close to other vessels, while she transits through the Turkish Straits. McFaul is underway to provide humanitarian assistance to the Republic of Georgia following the conflict between Russian and Georgian forces. The assistance being provided will aid in and alleviating human suffering in the Republic of Georgia.
