MONROVIA, Liberia--U.S. Coast Guard Petty Officer 3rd Class Charles Jones stands an anti-terrorism protection watch aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Forward during an Africa Partnership Station (APS) mission June 17, 2011.
The Forward is on a scheduled deployment in West Africa supporting the APS, which aims to increase the professional skills and knowledge of African maritime forces, and improve relations between the United States and each host nation.
