ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. - Capt. Edward J. Gibbons gives Senator Kay Hagan a tour of the Coast Guard Aircraft Logistics Center in Elizabeth City Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010. Gibbons is the commanding officer of the logistics center. Senator Hagan spent the day in the area meeting with local elected officials and other local leaders to discuss jobs and economic development here. The logistics center employs more than 1,400 military, civilian, contractor, and high school apprentice personnel with an annual operating budget of $250 million.
