PASCAGOULA, Miss. - The Waesche, the U.S. Coast Guard's second National Security Cutter, undergoes acceptance trials from Sept. 28 to Oct. 1, 2009, in waters off the Gulf Coast. The Coast Guard and U.S. Navy Board of Inspection and Survey conducted the trials, testing equipment and identifying major discrepancies prior to the government taking ownership of the ship.
