NEW YORK - A 25-foot response boat crew from Coast Guard Station New York, based on Staten Island, N.Y., ride alongside the Staten Island Ferry as part of a security escort Sept. 23, 2009.
Station New York is a multi-mission unit, performing search and rescue, environmental response, maritime security patrols and boardings throughout the Port of New York and New Jersey.
