DAKAR, Senegal (July 21, 2011) - Petty Officer 2nd Class Jimmy Haurand (RIGHT) shines his flashlight down into a fish hold while Petty Officer 3td Class Buddy Gavisk climbs down into the compartment during a African Maritime Law Enforcement Partnership (AMLEP) boarding with Coast Guard and Senegalese boarding teams. AMLEP is a branch of Africa Partnership Station (APS) that focuses on operating side-by-side with regional maritime services in order to stop and deter illicit transnational maritime activity by conducting these operations with African natives.
