ATLANTIC OCEAN (July 17, 2011)- Petty Officer 2nd Dwayne Matthews inspects a fish sorting table below decks of a Senegalese fishing vessel during an initial safety inspection of the boat as part of an African Maritime Law Enforcement Partnership (AMLEP) boarding mission with Coast Guard and Senegalese boarding teams. AMLEP is a branch of Africa Partnership Station (APS) that focuses on operating side-by-side with regional maritime services in order to stop and deter illicit transnational maritime activity by conducting these operations with African navies.
