DAKAR, Senegal (July 11, 2011)- U.S. Navy Cmdr. Jay Steingold (RIGHT) gives a presentation to Coast Guard and U.S. and Senegalese navy personnel regarding an upcoming, joint exercise that is part of the Africa Partnership Station (APS). In support of APS, an international initiative, the Coast Guard Cutter Forward crew will offer real-world expertise in law enforcement, environmental stewardship, maritime awareness, search and rescue operations, damage control response, seamanship, medical readiness, and navigation.
