Artwork by Savannah Parks, a fifth-grader at Poincina Elementary School in Osceola County, Fla., was selected as 1st place winner for the 3rd thru 6th grade category for the Coast Guard's Partnership in Education National Student Art Contest in a Coast Guard Headquarter's ceremony, May 10, 2011. The Coast Guard held the nationwide contest to celebrate the 20th anniversary of PIE and drew nearly 300 entries from students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
