KODIAK, Alaska - Alaska Department of Fish and Game biologist Larry van Daele steadies an acoustic mooring, used for collecting beluga whale data in Cook Inlet, before it is removed from the Coast Guard MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter at Air Station Kodiak April 28, 2011. The mooring was recovered by the Coast Guard crew from a beach at the north end of Shelikof Strait after it came free of its mooring in Cook Inlet and washed up on the beach.
