Ensign Scott Bishop plots contacts on a chart as part of a tactical scenario during the final portion of the Anti-Submarine Warfare Officer course. The course provides ASWOs with new skills and boosts their division officer knowledge levels to improve tactical excellence aboard surface combatants. This is the first time the course has been taught in San Diego since 2003. The course will also be taught in Norfolk, Va., in 2009.
