Christie Cartwrite, Ultimate Fighting Championship ring girl and model, signs an autograph for U.S. Marine Corps 1st Lt. Katie Rowbotham, from Anoka, Minn., at Camp As Sayliyah, Qatar, Aug. 20, 2008. Cartwrite joined four other UFC celebrities: Anne Rivera, Travis Lutter, Dan "the Beast" Severn and Mark Coleman. "I watch UFC on television, I have seen all of them," said Rowbothman. The group was touring U.S. military installations in the Middle East to show support for war fighters. "There are a lot of troops coming to Camp As Sayliyah for rest and relaxation," said Rowbothman. "This visit is an added benefit for them, I know it's not something they expected to see here." Executed at the installation in Qatar, the U.S. Central Command rest and recuperation pass program has recharged over 165,000 war fighters since its inception in 2004.
